Summary: | Aggregate production planning involves multiple objectives which are conflicting in nature. Through multiple objective Decision making the behaviour of a large number of decision variables can be studied and it is possible to consider and satisfy as many objectives as possible at a time. This will in turn enable the decision maker to take a best compromise solution out of good number of alternate solutions at his disposal. This paper considers three multiple objectives together with various resource constraints and adopts goal programing as a solution technique. |
