Auger effect at localized impurities in semiconductors

Theoretical and experimental investigation of the Auger effect at localized impurities are presented. Theoretically estimated Auger coefficients well agree with that found experimentally for Mn2+ and Gd3+ in conducting CdF2 crystals.
