Description
Summary:We present new results on the arborescent phase diagram of (TMTSF)2C104 in the low magnetic field range. Magnetocalorimetric experiments performed at constant temperature and sweeping field are used to study in some detail the behavior of the transition lines. Our results seem to support the existence of a “tetracritical” point in addition to the previously found splitting process. These behaviors are unexpected within the framework of the “standard” model. They are discussed in the light of recent theoretical progress.
