Synthesis and characterization of new π-donors based on the BEDO-TTF molecule

New unsymmetrically substituted tetrathia- and dithiadiselenafulvalenes of the bis-ethylenedioxy-tetrathiafulvalene (BEDO-TTF) type have been prepared and characterized. Some of their radical cation salts have also been synthesized.
