Application of a multi-regge model to the reaction π−p → p π+π−π−πO at 13 and 20 GeV/ c

Data from the reaction π −p → p π + π − π − π O at 13 and 20 GeV/ c are compared with the predictions of the Reggeized multiperipheral model of Chan, Łoskiewicz and Allison [1]. The model is in good agreement with the single-particle momentum distributions and adequately reproduces the shape of the...

Description
Summary:Data from the reaction π −p → p π + π − π − π O at 13 and 20 GeV/ c are compared with the predictions of the Reggeized multiperipheral model of Chan, Łoskiewicz and Allison [1]. The model is in good agreement with the single-particle momentum distributions and adequately reproduces the shape of the non-resonant regions of the invariant-mass distributions.
