Description
Summary:We discuss the objection raised by Halliday and Sachrajda against the inclusive sum-rule proof of the vanishing of the triple-Pomeron coupling at zero momentum transfer. We show that the graph which they have examined yields a negative divergent (when s → ∞) contribution to the inclusive cross section. Consideration of an infinite sum of graphs is necessary in order to complete this proof.
