Description
Summary:The structure of theories which attempt to describe composite hadrons by means of quark field variables defined on a light plane, can be probed using the transformation properties of observables with respect to the light-plane charges. The possibly general sransformation of the light-plane Hamiltonian P_ and of the current divergences with respect to the [SU(3) Ă— SU(3)] L algebra of the light-plane charges is suggested. A particular method is proposed, which allows one to test this transformation pattern via the properties of the meson spectrum.
