Renormalisation group analysis of the minimal left-right symmetric model

We give the one-loop renormalisation group equations for the minimal left-right symmetric model containing two triplets and one bi-doublet Higgs. Assuming this model to be only an effective low-energy theory, we give upper bounds on the top quark mass and the Majorana mass of the right-handed neutri...

Description
Summary:We give the one-loop renormalisation group equations for the minimal left-right symmetric model containing two triplets and one bi-doublet Higgs. Assuming this model to be only an effective low-energy theory, we give upper bounds on the top quark mass and the Majorana mass of the right-handed neutrino as a function of the cutoff scale. We also give a qualitative discussion of the behaviour of the couplings in the Higgs sector.
