Description
Summary:Traces of vanadium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, zinc, molybdenum, cadmium, lead and uranium in sea water and other compartments of the North Sea are determined in the range of ng kg to μg kg using total reflection X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (TXRF) after preconcentration by a reverse-phase technique. TXRF data for cadmium and copper are compared with results measured by anodic stripping voltammetry and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.
