4-dimensional resolution effects on the interpretation of triple-axis-data

For inelastic neutron scattering experiments on the axis spectrometers we present a new method for a fast 4-dimensional convolution of a theoretical non-Gaussian structure factor with the resolution function of the instrument. To demonstrate the capability of this method, it is used for the analysis...

Description
Summary:For inelastic neutron scattering experiments on the axis spectrometers we present a new method for a fast 4-dimensional convolution of a theoretical non-Gaussian structure factor with the resolution function of the instrument. To demonstrate the capability of this method, it is used for the analysis of experimental data obtained from the magnetic mixed system Rb 2 Mn 0.2 Cr 0.8 Cl 4.
