Cu-AFNR and NQR of the antiferromagnetic and superconducting Bi2Sr2(Ca1−xYx)Cu2O8+y

Cu-NQR spectra in the paramagnetic region of Bi2Sr2(Ca1−xYx)CuO8+y spread over a wide frequency range between 18 and 32MHz, showing the large distribution of the electrical field gradient at Cu sites, reflecting the structural modulation in this system. Description
Summary:Cu-NQR spectra in the paramagnetic region of Bi2Sr2(Ca1−xYx)CuO8+y spread over a wide frequency range between 18 and 32MHz, showing the large distribution of the electrical field gradient at Cu sites, reflecting the structural modulation in this system. In the Y-concentrated region, the observation of the antiferromagnetic nuclear resonance (ANFR) of Cu nuclei around 60–130MHz indicates that antiferromagnetism of Cu spins is situated near the superconducting phase.
