Thin conductive films made by plasma polymerization of 2-chloroacrylonitrile in the presence of iodine

Preliminary results are presented on the plasma polymerization of 2-chloroacrylonitrile in the presence of iodine. Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis data indicate the presence of extensive unsaturation, and a conductivity of 10 −5 S cm −1 was measured. Data on plasma polymers of acrylonitr...

Description
Summary:Preliminary results are presented on the plasma polymerization of 2-chloroacrylonitrile in the presence of iodine. Electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis data indicate the presence of extensive unsaturation, and a conductivity of 10 −5 S cm −1 was measured. Data on plasma polymers of acrylonitrile and 2-chloroacrylonitrile (without the addition of iodine) are included for comparison.
