Production of thin metallic and dielectric coatings by a plasma technique and their investigation

Multilayer optical coatings have been plasma deposited (ion plated), which consist of reflective metallic (silver) and protective dielectric ((Y, Sc) 2O 3) layers. A complex structure investigation of the coatings produced, an analysis of their elemental composition, an IR optical performance study,...

Description
Summary:Multilayer optical coatings have been plasma deposited (ion plated), which consist of reflective metallic (silver) and protective dielectric ((Y, Sc) 2O 3) layers. A complex structure investigation of the coatings produced, an analysis of their elemental composition, an IR optical performance study, and corrosion and mechanical tests have been carried out. Preferential conditions have been determined for coatings with improved physicochemical and mechanical properties.
