Description
Summary:The Extensive Air Shower (EAS) array in Łódź (Poland) was used to determine the phase distribution of the showers arriving from the direction of the Crab pulsar. The primary energy of the showers is in the region 10 15–10 16 eV. The phase distribution does not show any deviation from the homogeneous distribution. The electron and muon lateral distributions for the showers from the Crab direction are statistically the same as the distributions from other directions. An upper limit to the γ-ray flux from the Crab Nebula above ∼ 2 × 10 15 eV is about 10 −13 (cm 2 s) −1.
