Summary: | The TDLAS technique has been applied for a validation of a less specific enzymatic measurement technique for formaldehyde. A newly developed calibration system has been used to provide different concentrations in the lower ppbv region to establish a calibration function and to evaluate system performance characteristics according to ISO regulations. An intercomparison between the TDLAS and the enzymatic-fluorometric technique shows a good correlation between the two methods, especially with calibration gas. |
