Determination of lactate dehydrogenase in serum by using a pyruvate sensor
Pyruvate produced by lactate dehydrogenase (LDH)-catalyzed oxidation of lactate is determined by the sensor based on pyruvate oxidase described previously. Thus LDH activity (0.025–0.18 I.U. ml -1) can be determined. The time required for the assay is 6 min.
