Summary: | High-performance liquid chromatographic and silica gel thin-layer chromatographic methods were developed for the separation and simultaneous detection of adrenochrome, adrenolutin and epinephrine. The latter method includes a convenient plate treatment to preclude decomposition of subtances during chromatography. A simple column chromatographic method that separates mixtures of adrenochrome and adrenolutin is also described. |
