Summary: | We prepared Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy single crystals by a vertical Bridgman method and investigated their characterization. From the results, we found that the plate-like Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy single crystal with the size of 4 × 10mm2 was a single phase. The as-grown Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy single crystals had a superconductivity without any annealing after crystal growth. In addition, the single Bi2Sr2CaCu2Oy crystal did not contain any impurities and its surface morphology was flat. |
