P1̄. All compounds indicating the presence of antiferromagnetic interactions and the magnetic susceptibility curves exhibits the maximum at 4.25
K for (PyH)
2ReCl
6 and at 3.57
K for (QyH)
2ReCl
6·2H
2O. Their octahedral ReCl
6
2− anions are packed with planar amine cations so that the octahedra form alternating layers with the organic moieties, and the usual bond lengths and angles are maintained. |
