Crown ethers formally derived from resorcinol. X-ray crystal structure and NMR investigations of dibenzo-26-crown-8
The title molecule crystallizes in a pseudo-symmetric conformation with two O-C-C-O units possessing unusual trans geometries. Solid phase 13C NMR data are presented as well as 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts and couplings determined in solution.
