Summary: | A model for ionic conduction on a mixed alkali glassy system is presented. The main assumption of the model is that kinetic barriers for ionic jumping vary with the addition of the substituting ion to the host glassy ionic matrix. Kinetically controlled Monte Carlo simulations performed on the model prove that it mimics adequately the behavior of the system. |
