Summary:In this mini-review, we present a summary of our recent work in the field of palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions, with emphasis on the use of nucleophilic N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) as ancillary ligand. The palladium-mediated coupling reactions investigated include the Suzuki–Miyaura, Kumada–Tamao–Corriu, Heck, Sonogashira, Stille, Hiyama and aryl amination reactions. A summary of our recent work in the field of palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions is presented with emphasis on the use of nucleophilic N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHC) as ancillary ligation. Coupling reactions investigated include the Suzuki–Miyaura, Kumada–Tamao–Corriu, Heck, Sonogashira, Stille, Hiyama and aryl amination reactions.
