Summary: | An experimental and theoretical evaluation of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) which is employed as a recovery interferometer in a white-light interferometric sensing system is reported. This MZI is composed of bulk optical components for enhanced stability, and does not require the use of polarizers and transmission gratings which are commonly employed in other proposed configurations of sensor systems of this type. |
