On the interpretation of some data obtained with antiferromagnetic resonance in hydrated copper chloride

The theories of Ubbink and Yosida have been compared with the experiments on CUCl 2. 2H 2O at 32 000 MHz. Within the accuracy of the experiments a complete agreement has been found with these theories; the experiments gave the values: H c = 6500 Ø and H a= 9150 Ø. The temperature dependence of aH c...

Description
Summary:The theories of Ubbink and Yosida have been compared with the experiments on CUCl 2. 2H 2O at 32 000 MHz. Within the accuracy of the experiments a complete agreement has been found with these theories; the experiments gave the values: H c = 6500 Ø and H a= 9150 Ø. The temperature dependence of aH c *2 has been compared with M 2(T), based on the molecular field theory. The general behaviour of the resonance fields as a function of temperature has been discussed.
