X-ray single-crystal structure of 2 (S ),4 (R)-4-hydroxyarginine from Lens culinaris seeds

A new method was developed to isolate, as the hydrochloride salt, 4-hydroxyarginine from Lens culinaris seeds. The structure and absolute configuration of the compound were determined by single-crystal X-ray crystallography and circular dichroism.
