Description
Summary:An algorithm for the design of digital controllers for multivariable systems is presented. The algorithm proceeds in the bilinearly transformed w-domain and is based on the matching of few initial time-moments of the open-loop augmented system with those of a reference model. It is computationally simple and does not require any graphical investigation. Also, neither it relies on any trial and error procedure nor depends on ingenuity of the designer. Only linear algebraic matrix equations are to be solved to find the parameters of the desired digital controller. Two examples are included to demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm.
