Summary: | Frailty is a syndrome of decreased physiologic reserve and decreased resilience to stress that has been associated with adverse outcomes following many operative procedures. We aimed to evaluate these findings among patients undergoing surgery for ovarian cancer (OC) using a nationwide database.
Inpatient hospitalizations were identified for patients undergoing surgery for OC using the 2005-2017 National Inpatient Sample database.
