Summary: | The stabilization of polyisoprene rubber by a number of triazinone derivatives in the course of thermal oxidation has been studied. The antioxidant effect has been estimated by the induction periods of the carbonyl and hydroxyl group accumulation, and the oxygen sorption at 353 and 363 K. The induction periods observed for triazinones was compared with those for the known stabilizers of amine and phenol type. The triazinone-phenol mixtures were demonstrated to have a large synergistic effect. |
