Thermal degradation of poly-p-nitrostyrene

The thermal degradation of poly-p-nitrostyrene has been studied by mass spectrometric thermal analysis and pyrolysis gas chromatography. It was shown that the main thermal degradation process is depolymerization. Polymer crosslinking leads to a change in thermal degradation mechanism.
