Summary: | In this paper, two adaptive fuzzy control schemes for a class of nonlinear systems are proposed. Each scheme employs a fuzzy control with an adaptive law, and a compensation control. It is proved that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable based on Lyapunov synthesis approach while the identification of the controlled plant is unnecessary. Finally, these schemes are applied to control a chaotic system. The simulation results show that our schemes are superior to the scheme of [12]. |
