Equilibria in solutions of complexes of poly(acrylic acids) and poly(N-vinylazoles)
The formation for interpolymer complexes of poly(acrylic acid) and poly (methacrylic acid) with poly(1-vinylimidazole) and poly(1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole) was investigated in aqueous solutions. It was found that the complexes can be stabilized by hydrogen bonds, donor-acceptor interactions between acry...

Summary: | The formation for interpolymer complexes of poly(acrylic acid) and poly (methacrylic acid) with poly(1-vinylimidazole) and poly(1-vinyl-1,2,4-triazole) was investigated in aqueous solutions. It was found that the complexes can be stabilized by hydrogen bonds, donor-acceptor interactions between acrylate anions, and azole rings and triple systems involving alkali metal cations. |
