Summary:New experimental data on OH and OD stretching vibrations were received from Raman spectra of light and heavy water and aqueous solutions of some electrolytes. These data permit to estimate previous results in this field from a new position. Our results were explained from the point of view of rotational reorientation of the central water molecules in the five-molecule structural units.
