Viscous flow of amorphous metals in swift heavy ion tracks

In this paper we present a quantitative model of local viscous flow of amorphous solid during the cooling down of a swift heavy ion track, taking into account both the heat dissipation by heat conduction and the temperature dependence of material viscosity.
