Description
Summary:An experimental set-up designed for the investigation of light nuclei close to the neutron dripline is described. It is built on the basis of a broad range magnetic spectrograph having a focal plane detector consisting of a four-section ionization chamber and two position-sensitive proportional counters. The neutron-rich nuclei are studied in heavy-ion reactions at energies below 18 MeV/u.
