Microencapsulated fire retardants for polyolefins

The action of various types of microencapsulated fire retardants in polyolefins has been studied. Description
Summary:The action of various types of microencapsulated fire retardants in polyolefins has been studied. It was shown that fire retardant on the base of diamide of methylphosphonic acid (DAPA) can be used for common purposes. However, for best results it should be microencapsulated beforehand. It allows one to process materials under the usual technological conditions. Moreover, the choice of appropriate coating can also reduce flammability and improve thermoprotection properties of materials.
