Description
Summary:Field measurements have been conducted during natural and artificial rainstorms to document how rainwater can move on the forest floor. Accent was given to the recognition of overlandflow or surface runoff production. It is suggested that the observed short-lived water fluxes, over-litter and within the root-litter carpet, are not significant as a streamflow component during stormflow periods.
