Description
Summary:Utilizing the topological structure of the non-Abelian gauge theories, QCD has been analysed as a dual gauge theory. The dynamical breaking of magnetic symmetry of dual QCD vacuum has been shown to push QCD vacuum in a state of dual superconductivity imparting it the non-perturbative colour confining properties. Analysing the flux tube structure of the magnetically condensed vacuum, the characteristic mass scales and other confinement parameters of dual QCD have been computed which have been used to discuss the nature of the QCD vacuum in view of the running nature of strong coupling constant.
