Summary: | The electrochemical production of poly(2-methoxyaniline-5-sulfonic acid) (PMAS) has been investigated. Using the electrohydrodynamic processing method, it has been shown that both the applied potential and the flow rate employed have a dramatic effect on molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The conductivity of the PMAS obtained was of the order of 0.01 S cm
−1 and was negligibly affected by applied potential or flow rate. |
