Description
Summary:The calculation of ventilation is probably not the most important issue within the overall project of a tunnel (although it may become a very serious one during the tunnel development works). Nevertheless, there is no simple method (according to the problem) that can accurately describe the physical phenomena. For this reason, a simple computer program has been developed, based on a explicit method, aiming to be a useful tool for quick problem solving. It enables the user to perform preliminary calculations for ventilation systems, and is easy to calibrate with in-situ measurements for enhanced accuracy.
