A role of catalysis for the destruction of waste from the nuclear industry

Recent advances in application of catalysis to problems of waste destruction and off-gas treatment in the nuclear industry are presented: destruction of mixed organic wastes in a fluidized catalyst bed, mixed waste oxidation in catalytically active molten salts, selective catalytic reduction of NO x...

Description
Summary:Recent advances in application of catalysis to problems of waste destruction and off-gas treatment in the nuclear industry are presented: destruction of mixed organic wastes in a fluidized catalyst bed, mixed waste oxidation in catalytically active molten salts, selective catalytic reduction of NO x , in off-gases, catalytic oxidation of H 2 in the ventilation exhaust from liquid waste tanks and catalytic removal of VOCs in processes of groundwater and soil remediation.
