Description
Summary:Electrochemical Li insertion into single-walled carbon nanotubes prepared by graphite arc-discharge technique was studied. The reversible Li insertion capacity and the coulomb efficiency were found to be 430 mA h/g and 18%, respectively at the first cycle, even in the absence of any characteristic X-ray diffraction line of the rope structure. The reversible capacity decreased by 30% of the initial value after five consecutive cycles.
