Summary:A double crystal cold neutron storage apparatus has been installed at the ISIS spallation source. Experiments with an improved set-up are reported and discussed with respect to possible applications. Intrinsic loss factors of a given configuration results in the decrease of the stored neutron intensity at increasing storage periods. Neutron interaction with its environment leads to additional losses which can be evaluated after the storage process.
