Description
Summary:In this paper, the overview of the ductility minimum temperature phenomena in two (CuZn10 and CuZn32) brasses was made. In there, the characteristics of behaviour of mentioned above materials during high temperature tensile tests for different grain size (small and large) and different strain rates (low and high) were presented, and results of energy activation measured. The attempt of clarifying the phenomena of the ductility minimum temperature in these brasses was performed by the proposal of material’s model with “hard” and “soft” places.
