Turning of metal matrix composites
An experimental analysis of the cutting performance of poly-crystalline diamond (PCD) and chemical vapour deposition (CVD) diamond coated inserts is presented. Results are discussed in terms of wear phenomena with application to turning of two metal matrix composites (MMCs).
