Summary: | A magnetic field peak value sensor with a sensitivity of 10
−4 Oe and working temperature of 77 K has been constructed on the basis of YBaCuO ceramics with a sharp jump of trapped magnetic flux density at the first Josephson critical magnetic field. The method of magnetic field measurement and the sensor principle are described. The construction of the sensor and the magnetometer based on it is given. Ways of improving the obtained results are indicated. In particular, the use of a scheme of mutual inductances with automatic compensation of imbalanced signal permits the magnetometer sensitivity to be enhanced up to 10
