Half-life and X-ray emission probabilities of [formula omitted]
The X-ray emission probabilities of the Mn-K α and Mn-K β radiation in the decay of 55 Fe were measured with a calibrated Si(Li) spectrometer, resulting in 0.245(7) and 0.0338(9), respectively. A half-life of 1003.5(21) day was measured using the same detector.
