Description
Summary:A review of results given by thermography applied for the conservation and monitoring of monuments is presented. Experimental results obtained on the Scrovegni Chapel at Padova, Frescoed by Giotto are presented. Among them, the hidden structure identification, the adhesion of frescoes testing, the cracks mapping and the air flows study are the most important. The test has been carried out using different thermographic equipment and spectral bands.
