Description
Summary:The composites of tomorrow will need to be developed in advanced engineering environments. This transformation to computer-based materials design requires a transformation of traditional engineering education programs. Students need training in systems design, simulation and visualization technologies, teamwork, and communication to function effectively in distributed, diverse, collaborative work environments. The programs being coordinated and implemented by CAEFF are designed to meet these challenges and constitute a paradigm shift in engineering education.
