Summary: | A novel interposition technique is presented in which a pediatric patient underwent reimplantation of the anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery into the aorta by creation of an extension using an autograft of the left atrial appendage. The advantage of this technique is that the autograft remains patent and lies anatomically without tension over the pulmonary artery as demonstrated in the follow-up computed tomography angiogram. |
