Summary:The chemo-enzymatic epoxidation of (+)-3-carene using peroxy acids formed in situ, in the presence of H 2O 2 and enzymes from different sources is here presented. The reaction proceeded efficiently and various parameters of the experimental conditions were evaluated. The product was obtained in high yields and kept the optical purity of the substrate.
